Speakers

OUR GUEST: Peter Widmer knows the ups and downs of life from his own unique story. He will talk about himself and his experiences: relief organization in Africa, pastor and minister, and working in the Red Light district of Zurich. He has been married to Dorothée since 1993. Together, they founded the association "Heartwings", which takes care of people from the Red Light district in desperate and hopeless situations and gives them new vision for their lives.

Thomas Bänziger, Pastor, Dr. Theology, father of four children, has been working together with his wife Katharina in the Stiftung Schleife since September 2015, after ten years of parish ministry. They are responsible over the Schleife Community and the Bible workshop. Thomas (41) earned his doctorate in the Old Testament and is a guest lecturer at STH Basel. Serving as the chief editor of the Prophetic Bulletin makes him happy, since writing is one of his passions.

Marc Osenberg heads the men's work of the Schleife and is also a member of the board of trustees. After graduating as an engineer, he worked as a software architect for an insurance company in Zurich. Born in Lüdenscheid (Germany), Marc (47) now lives with his wife Anne and the three children in Winterthur. He encourages participants of the men's weekend to re-start with God and to take positive changes back into everyday life.

Small Groups

Personal exchange in small groups is an essential part of the men's weekend. For trusting and enriching conversations, the groups stay with the same members throughout the three days.
